- Staffs and registered students of UniMAIWP are eligible to use the library.
- Users are required to display staff/student ID at all times. The library reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone without a valid staff/student ID.
- External users must have written permission from librarian to access the library.
- Visitors who would like to visit our library must bring an official letter from their place of work/study, stating the purpose and duration of visit.
- The library users must adhere to the dress code as stipulated by the university.
- No bags, umbrellas, helmets, parcels, animals may be brought into the library. Library staff reserves the right to inspect bags or other personal property when visitor enter or leave the library.
- All users are required to behave considerately and respect others.
- All mobile devices must be switched to silent mode.
- Eating, drinking, smoking, vaping are strictly prohibited in the library.
- Users must maintain library’s cleanliness.
- Library equipment/furniture should not be moved from its designated place.
- Users must not marks, deface or damage library books, furniture or any library asset.
- Photography and filming in the library are allowed only where prior permission from library staff has been given.
- No books shall be taken out of the library until the loan has been recorded in the library system.
- Student/Staff ID membership privileges are not transferable.
- Patrons must show their ID during loan transaction at the counter.
- Overdue fine for item in Open and Green Spot collection is RM 0.50 per day, for Red Spot collection RM 0.50 per half and hour. Maximum fine is RM 200.00
- Staff or students who withdraw/defer/resign/graduate from the university must return all borrowed materials regardless of due dates.
- User must report lost of item(s) immediately to circulation counter.
- For lost item, user must replace the same item or latest edition and processing fee RM 20.00, or pay twice the price of item and processing fee RM 20.00.
- Library computers are for academic use only.
- Please Log out/Shutdown computer when you leave the computer.
- Copyright protection in Malaysia is governed by Copyright Act 1987. Library users must comply with copyright law and licensing agreement when using library resources such as ebooks, computers, and photocopying facilities.
Library staffs have the authority to bar any users from using library facilities for any infringement of the Library Rules and Regulations.
Library may amend any library rules and regulations from time to time when necessary without notice.
